Ambit hosts 2022 ESG Round Table Conference

On the 22nd of February, we hosted our first ESG round table conference to discuss our environmental social governance initiatives with our supply chain, clients and industry experts.

We were joined by JAW SustainabilityLP EnergyRace Interiors LtdECJ JOINERY LTDEncore Environment LtdVivid FinishesPlatfformSAS International and Workplace Futures Group where a great conversation and debate was had by all and environmental goals were set for 2022.

Each company had the chance to present their current ESG strategy and educate the room on how we can all do our bit to reduce, recycle and reuse.

Martin Evans, Managing Director of Ambit, said, “The subject of embodied carbon in fit out and construction is hugely important so as an industry we can seek to improve what we do to minimise the impact on the environment, but first we must benchmark and measure what we are currently doing, this is Ambits goal for 2022, then we can put in place measure to continuously improve and advise our clients from an informed perspective.”

We came away from the discussion with the resounding agreement that it’s crucial that we all stick together as an industry if we want to continue to see change for good.

As a company, we are taking our environmental social governance seriously and appointed Matthew Robinson as our ESG champion. Matt has the full support of the entire Ambit and Workplace Futures team.

Matthew Robinson said, “It is a privilege to be taking on the role of sustainability champion for Ambit as we drive ESG forward for 2022. We have already made great progress in this area over the past few months, and I am looking forward to being a part of delivering our goals for the future. Big thanks to Martin for driving this forward and for team Ambit for taking on this responsibility together.”
