At the heart of our mission is our commitment to transparency, integrity and promoting greater diversity, equity, and inclusion within our company.

As a Certified B Corporation, we have been recognised for our commitment to sustainable practices and ethical decision-making in all aspects of our operations.

Becoming a Certified B Corporation is an important achievement for us, and we are proud to join a community of like-minded companies who share our philosophy that businesses have a responsibility to be a force for good. We believe that sustainability, social responsibility, and ethical business practices are key to achieving a better future for everyone.

What does B Corp™ mean?

Certified B Corporations (B Corps) are businesses that meet the highest verified standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.

Certification is awarded by B Lab, a nonprofit organisation that assesses companies based on their commitment to stakeholder impact, including how they treat employees, benefit local communities, and support environmental sustainability.

By achieving B Corp status, Ambit joins a global movement of companies who believe in using business as a force for good, committing to rigorous standards that balance profit and purpose.

Each project is designed with purpose – from prioritising eco-friendly materials to fostering community well-being and pushing boundaries in carbon reduction.

Why Choose Ambit?

Our approach is driven by a deep commitment to responsible, sustainable, and impactful construction. Our dedication to these pillars not only enhances the spaces we create but also leaves a positive, lasting impact on our clients, communities, and the environment. Here’s how we’re making a difference:

  • From sourcing eco-friendly materials to implementing circular economy principles, we’re reducing our environmental footprint and making a difference. We prioritise low-carbon materials, including low-carbon concrete and reclaimed timber, and partner with innovative suppliers to bring sustainable solutions to our clients. This commitment has helped us save over 10,500kg of CO₂ in recent our project, The Waterman.

  • Every project begins with understanding community needs. We’ve supported local charities through donations and hands-on volunteering, contributing to initiatives that promote mental health, reduce loneliness, and support homelessness. For instance, our project at The Waterman, donated £15,000 to local causes and engaged our team in hands-on volunteer activities.

  • We go beyond industry standards to track and reduce carbon emissions across all stages of a project. We’re working to reduce our Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 90% by 2027 and have introduced a Sustainable Procurement Strategy to guide our supply chain toward greener practices.

  • Certified in ISO 45001 for health and safety, we ensure that our job sites and offices are safe for everyone. We actively promote mental well-being, providing Mental Health First Aiders on each site and participating in initiatives like the Lighthouse Charity’s awareness programs.

To strengthen our commitment to ESG, we are:

ISO 14001 Accredited

ISO 14001 is an international standard for environmental management systems (EMS). It helps organisations to continually improve their environmental performance through a more efficient use of resources, reduction of waste and greenhouse gas emissions. Achieving ISO 14001 means an organisation is taking proactive measures to minimise their environmental footprint, comply with relevant legal requirements, and achieve strict environmental commitments.

ISO 45001 Accredited

ISO 45001 is an international standard for occupational health and safety (OH&S) management systems. It provides a framework for organisations to manage risks and improve OH&S performance.
