We partnered with Resolution Property to revitalise the Programme Building, a Bristol modernist landmark. Despite the complexities of working within an occupied building during the pandemic, the refurbishment transformed multiple areas.
Refining Internal Spaces and Core Areas
The project included a 50,000 sq ft shell and core fit out with exposed services, resin flooring, and upgrades to mechanical and electrical systems. The East and West cores were enhanced with new risers, feature ceilings, and a sleek WC fit out.
Roof and Urban Terrace Transformation
Over 130 tonnes of steel were installed on the 16,000 sq ft roof for plant decks, acoustic screening, and a new waterproofing system. Meanwhile, the podium-level car park was reimagined into a functional ‘Urban Terrace’ with waterproofing, cycle racking, planters, and feature lighting, creating a refreshed outdoor space for tenants.
This phased project preserved the building operations while delivering a modern, functional environment tailored to the future needs of the building’s occupants.
